Corfu is a stony island, and almost every plot has rock: boulders in the field, outcrops where you want to build, loose stone from fallen walls and terraces. It can block a track, stop a trench or get in the way of a garden.

We move boulders with the mini excavator, roll or drag them with chains where that is safer, and load them onto the trailer to haul away or place them where you want them, for example as a garden feature or as stone for a wall. For rock that has to be broken, we tell you honestly whether it needs a hydraulic breaker or a specialist, and how much longer and costlier that makes the job.

How the job works

1. Photos with scale

   Send photos with something for scale, such as a person or a tool, and tell us where the rock is.

2. Assess

   We judge the size, the weight, how to move it safely and which machine it needs.

3. Move

   We lift, roll or drag the rock and load it or place it where you agreed.

4. Tidy

   We fill any hole and level the ground.
