Get your plot back, without burning anything

In Corfu's mild, wet climate a neglected plot can turn into a wall of brambles, cane, ivy and Mediterranean scrub within a couple of seasons. Old terraces disappear, paths close up, and the land becomes a fire risk and a hiding place for pests.

We clear it with a compact tractor and a brush shredder, also called a mulcher or, in Greek, a 'destroyer'. It cuts through thick growth and chops it into mulch that stays on the ground, so there is nothing to burn and, for most jobs, nothing to haul away. Where the growth is too thick, too steep or full of hazards, we cut by hand first and finish with the machine.

Because our machines are small, we can work on terraces, behind narrow gates and between trees where a large machine would not fit. Tell us the size of the plot and how thick the growth is, and we will estimate the time before you commit to anything.

How the job works

1. Photos and a map pin

   You send photos and the location. We check the terrain, the thickness of the growth and the access.

2. Walk-through and no-go list

   Before we start, you point out what must stay: trees, plants, walls, wells, pipes and boundary markers.

3. Shredding

   We work the plot in passes, with the tractor first and hand tools around trees, walls and edges.

4. Tidy finish

   We leave the ground clear and mulched. If you want it kept that way, we can come back once or twice a year.
